Hero, that’s how I defined Nathaniel Melloria and Mary Grace Melloria, my parents. According to Merriam Webster Dictionary the definition of hero is a person who is admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities , but for me I didn’t admire my parents by their brave acts , I admire them by their simple acts ,encouragement, motivation, and pure love. They are my inspiration in my everyday life , they may not be vocal on what they want for me but I know deep inside they want me to be successful in life.
My parents are my encourager, my stanchion and my mentor, they guide me and give me courage to stand up and fight for my dreams in life even in an easy or difficult situation. They influence me through their efforts ,sacrifices, and love.
I realized that life is a war where you can win or lose. You can win if you will fight with all your strength and courage and you will lose if you’ll choose to be defeated. In my life I choose to win because my parents is on my side who turned me into a fighter in the war of life through their influence.
